The Design Hive, Somerset celebrates 12 incredible years in the design industry.
It seems almost impossible that, nearly 18 years ago, the journey in the design industry began for owner, Melanie Downing. Now, The Design Hive is celebrating its twelfth year in business.
For Melanie, it’s been a journey full of challenges, excitement and a lot of hard work. Every second worth the highs and lows of running a business and even becoming a mum during this time. Being a designer has definitely been a dream worth fighting for and it only ever becomes more fascinating as the years go by.
2017 was an exceptional year for us and we even got shortlisted for the Somerset Business Awards and were official winners of the Theo Papthitis #sbs award.
Thank you to all of our customers for trusting in us over the past 12 years. Many of you have come back to us time and again and recommended us to your friends, family and colleagues. Your support is very much appreciated. Thank you also to our dedicated, exceptionally hard working team, including Tash our senior design, Quicksign and our sub-contractors, most of whom have been with us since the beginning.
We are truly honoured to be part of a great community of successful businesses and thoroughly enjoy working with so many local businesses of all sizes.
