It was this time last year that we were preparing and submitting our applications for the annual Sedgemoor Business Excellence Awards, and we’re delighted to say that we scooped both!
Never in our wildest dreams did we think we’d come away with not one, but TWO awards on the night. The whole evening was jam-packed with fantastic businesses across the local area of Sedgemoor and the competition couldn’t have been tougher. Somehow, and a huge thank you to our award sponsors and the panel of judges, we came away with ‘Customer Service Excellence’ and ‘Small Business of the Year’ awards. Although the event was held remotely, it was fantastic to watch things unfold live on YouTube. A truly unforgettable evening.
Fast forward to today and we felt we’d like to give something back, and it was only right for us to be part of this year’s event – the obvious choice was to be a sponsor. So for the 2021 awards, we’re delighted to be sponsoring the ‘New Business’ award.
Unlike last year, this year’s event will go ahead as normal on the 19th of November at the The Canalside in Bridgwater and we absolutely cannot wait. It’s been a really tough couple of years for everyone, and to be able to celebrate coming out the other side in one piece together, will be a truly special evening for all.
The deadline for entering the awards is rapidly approaching, with the cutoff at 5pm on the 10th September 2021. If you haven’t entered already or are on the fence about whether to, we’d highly encourage you to do so. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole process from start to finish, and we’re sure there are some incredible new businesses out there that thoroughly deserve an award.
